Butter Pecan Icing Opinion

What icing do you think would be best with butter pecan cake? Cream cheese or buttercream recipe for FBCT?

My choice would be buttercream. The flavor of the cream cheese might be too much and it might cover up the pecan flavor. Adding a flavored coffee creamer might be the way to go!
