Okay, so I have a question. I have used some extended recipes that add in pudding mix. My question is, if I am using Pillsbury mix..I think..its at home now, but it already has pudding in the mix in it. Does that mean I should not add in more pudding mix since it already has some? Will I have to substitute a different dry ingredient for it if I shouldnt use it? I hope that makes sense hehehe

THanks!

It really depends on which flavor you are using. I use Pillsbury for my choco cake and still add pudding but with the white cake adding pudding is just a bit much.

I just made a cake using the Pillsbury cake mix for the first time. I had no idea it already had pudding in it. I made a yellow cake and I added vanilla pudding and it was fine. Everyone loved it.

This is a little different question but still about Pillsbury. I usually use Duncan Hines, which I really like, but their white cake is a bit dry. So I tried the Pillsbury which has the pudding and while it wasn't at all dry, it crumbled horribly! I could hardly ice my cake it crumbled so badly. Does that happen to anyone else?
