My dh 30th birthday, our 2nd anniversary and Father's Day is all on the same day this year. I'm looking for a cake that is masculine. My dh isn't into any certain sports team or any certain hobby. He really loves his Jeep for off-roading, but thats about it. Any ideas on a masculine cake that is non-specific. I hope this makes sense.

TIA!

Bree

Anything in chocolate usually works. I'd look in the gallery under groom cakes.

I usually have trouble with that too. maybe chocolate with chocolate dipped stawberries on top. Or anything with chocolate ganache poured over the top. Or perhaps a FBCT or CT of a jeep or something. Or if you are good at carving you could do a 3-d jeep.

I madethis for my dad and I had a lot of trouble thinking of something.

merissa, that cake is gorgeous! heck, all of your cakes are gorgeous!

i also have to make a cake for what my dh said will be 'a bunch of dudes who want dessert' on friday. i frosted it buttercream already, i just have to figure out what to do with it.

the top one, i made for my dh's and bff's birthdays, so i made it a little masculine and a little feminine (the bow).

then the bottom one i made for fun, but it's not overly feminine.

good luck!
