I don't want to jump to the wrong thing here but I was just looking at the new pictures that have been uploaded today and noticed that one of my cakes was on there and I have not uploaded anything in a few days, so I clicked on it and it looks like someone else has uploaded it under their name and posted it in their photos as theirs. What should I do???

not to mention that her copy of my cake has gotten many more comments then my upload of it did. It just cracks me up because the background of the picture has my wedding cake display in the back.

Contact the moderators, there may be a glitch with the new galleries. Hopefully that's the problem.

I'd let the Admin know.

But how did they upload one of your pics? Did they take it from somewhere?

I think I am a little annoyed at the fact that her upload of it got about 100 more views and like 15 more comments then mine did haha

wow I had to go snooping....I know your upset and I would be too, but man everyone sure did like her version lol icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

No this does not happen often, but it does happen. Contact Jackie or Heath. They will make it right!!

Did you also notice the person who uploaded it has no post and no other pics. Likely just someone wanting to start the pot stirring.

Cute cake by the way. I am going to go leave you a comment on it now so you can catch up icon_lol.gif

When this has happened before it is either a glitch or an honest mistake. The galleries are having numerous glitches since the switch to the new format. The best thing to do is PM Jackie and she will investigate it and resolve it.

If it's the cake I think it is, it is super-cute! And I have found the amount of views/comments a cake gets is sometimes just dumb luck, it depends on lots of factors.

haha, thanks - I just can't see the difference in her post though - I thought they looked pretty similar, why did she get all the good comments icon_smile.gif

I hope this is just some little hicup and no one took your picture as their own. I just looked at your pictures and your cakes are very cute!

I bet it is a glick in the new system. I find that it depends on what time you load your picture in as to how many comments you get on your cake. If you load it at a time when there's alot of people on CC, you will get alot of comments.

All the comments from that posting should be transferred to your picture as they do refer to your cake.

A lot of times the number of comments depends on the time when it was uploaded. It it was a busy time... it can get burried in a matter of seconds and no one really sees it. Hope you get things worked out.

yeah, I think that i uploaded mine late in the evening so I am sure that makes a difference. I guess things got worked out because her upload of the picture is not there anymore.
