Okay - here's one for you!
Must be done in buttercream on a square 10x10 cake (customer request and price point) I can throw in a little fondant if I REALLLY have to, but I'd rather not as I always end up not charging what I should because I want to make bigger and better than what they want to pay for ![]()
So any thoughts on how to do a pretty cake with clowns and princesses? I've never done a FBCT before, just not sure what I would do for it. This is for Friday, so I am doing frosting now and probably baking today as well.
Thanks for the help!!
Laura

Do you mean they want clowns & princessess on the same 10x10 cake? ![]()
You could do the FBCT there is a tutorial on here http://www.cakecentral.com/article12-How-To-Create-a-Frozen-Buttercream-Transfer.html
But I can't help with an idea for the two characters together - hope someone else can help.
Maybe the icing clowns (like in the Wilton class cake) performing for a princess made with an ice cream cone based skirt with a doll head. Maybe it's an idea to start with that you can build on. Good luck!! Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Yup - both on the SAME cake!
I've just started thinking maybe the "princess" could be a circus performer of some kind instead? And do a FBCT of a circus scene?
