I need a cake for a 61 yr male who is an irrigation Tech - Sprinkler guy. The only idea I came up with is a grass with a sprinkler head with water spraying out....but how do I make water spray out? Any help I don't want to let her down by not coming up with any idea's. Please help.

How about wires with blue droplets on them. Not sure about any other ideas. Sorry. Here's a bump though.

Similar to pp's suggestion - what about one of these sprays like you'd see in wedding decorations? http://www.crafta.com/2011-lblr12.html I'm sure you could find them at any craft store...

Can't help you on your decision, but I was thinking that it may be cool to do the cake in the shape of a water drop... and for writing you can may be say something like "The grass is greener after 60" or something like that?

That would be a very good idea but I would be afraid that it would look more like a tear....but if I put grass around the bottom....Well thst could be another idea to offer her. Thanks I just don't want it to look cheesy icon_redface.gif

What about a picture (FBCT) of a man digging an irrigation ditch? Or a FBCT of the front door of a Social Security Office with a sign in the window reading "Closed until 2007"?

Just a thought or two.
