Can anyone tell me how to get the corners on my square and rectangle cakes square. They have a slight "rounded" edges right now!

Thanks!

I know I have read an article about how to get square corners in the articles section of cc. You might look there - there were pictures to help you follow along.

There's an article here on CC about how to do it with pictures!

I use a spackling blade (from the hardware section) and then my icing blade.

After the "crumb coat," I pile up a bunch onto the icing knife, and while holding the spackling blade at a right angle to the edge where I want the square to be, I then pull all the icing along the cake edge and into the square of the spackling blade. (This is where the "edge" will be.)

Then, lifting carefully--pull straight up on both...you should have a nice square edge/corner now.

I hope this helps...there's pictures here on CC in the "how to" section!
