I am interested in the edible images and would like to invest in a printer to make them but I have no clue as to where to start. Can anyone give me an idea as to how to go about the whole printer thing? Are there special printers for this, or do you just buy a printer and use edible ink? Please give me some feedback if you you guys will.

I purchased my system from www.icingimages.com . I purchase my supplies from them as well! You might want to check them out, they were very helpful in my decision making and have provided great customer service over the years!

You just need a regular inkjet printer that's compatible with the edible ink cartridges being made. The Canon iP1500, iP3000 or MP130 are some good choices. The printer will cost between $50-$100. Supplies for your printer can be purchased at several online shops. I buy from www.kopykake.com It cost me $110 to set up my system including the new printer, edible inks and frosting sheets.
