Sanding Sugar : How To Use

hello everybody,

I have received my colored sanding sugars and used it to decoreate.. Howver I still wanna be sure if Im doing it the right way.

do you pour it on the RI right after you fill in the cookie or decorate??

Yes, you want to put the sugars on the icing while it's still wet so it will adhere.

I usually let mine sit for about 5 minutes or so, still wet then sand.

When dry, I tap off the excess.

Sometimes I just use it lightly, it all depends on the look you are going for. I use it heavily when I want a flocked type look. Light when I just want a little sparkle.
