Okay, must admit I'm stumped. I've had a request to come up with a cake design for a child who's having a backwards party. Any ideas?

Here's a thought ~ what about a reverse tiered cake? a 6" on bottom, 8" on top of that, and 10" on top? I don't know if you can even do that, but I'm sure some smart cookie on this forum can help!!!

"Happy Birthday" and the child's name could all be written backwards, but other than that, I have no idea!

If there is going to be an entire meal served at the party, they can start with a main course that looks like a dessert and end up with a cake that looks like a main course.

My first thought was frosting the inside of the cake as well.

I think the real question is when does it end...

You could cover the cake with fondant and decorate it to look like the inside of a cake??

You could put the decorations and writing on the cake backwards. Maybe have the kids wear their clothes backwards and walk backwards. I like the idea someone suggested about the main course looking like dessert and dessert looking like main course.
