Saw it, hated it. The first was the best and the others are only damaging the great movie it is. For some reason the writers think that by adding as many plots, twists, and myth the movie will be better.
Listen all i wanted to see was this.
1. get rid of Jones
2. Barbosa go away
3. Jack back as captin of the black pearl
and most importantly 4. Elizabeth and Will get married, live in a cute little white house, make babies, and LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Aliwis, I was afraid to say it (after seeing all the posts) but I agree with you completly. I seen it last Thursday and i was disappointed. The graphic were phenominal but the story was like trying to watch ONE bee in a beehive. It was all over the place. After a while seeing Jones and those tenticals and watching Barbosa spit everytime he spoke I was ready to hurl. Calypso's threat of creating the biggest destruction when she was released was her growing tall then falling apart in a pile of crabs? Then a big whirl pool shows up?
Don't get me wrong I wouldn't have missed it for the world because of Depp and Bloom but my vote would be the first one being the best. 2 and 3 tried to out do 1 but IMO the graphics were the only thing holding it together. Now Orlando finally looking like a pirate at the end (which was slight disappointing) had my attention.
Maybe when it comes out on DVD, which I will have to buy for my daughter, I can watch it again in hopes that I will change my mind.
there were a lot of critics saying they hated it before it was released. i would have like to see the "happy" ending but i for some reason always like the not quite happy ending better. that way there can always be another movie made. lol as far as calypso goes i think her "rath" would have been far greater had will not told her it was jones who had her binded in human form. any time i can look at johnny for 3 hours and not be judged is a great time for me. lmao...........

LOL, there is plenty of that. I would recommend you see the 2nd one again on dvd if you haven't seen it since it came out in the theater last year. There were some things going on that I couldn't remember from the 2nd one. Some scenes didn't make sense. My daughter had to remind me since she lived to play the dvds of 1 and 2 everyday it seemed.
Although Depp is my era, that Orlando can make me a dirty old woman.

Yep, I am totally a sucker for a hottie pirate! In my real life, Captain Jack is mine and Orlando is my "maid". Not really. Well, there is some truth behind that. But again, we're not going to see Pirates of the Caribbean for the story lines or graphics, are we? We're as bad as men!

Speak for yourself. Yes I find both of them very cute (even though depp is old enough to be my dad) but if thats all I cared about I would look at pics of them online. Dont reduce me to some sex crazed mindless teenybopper please.

No worries Alicia, I'm not reducing you or anyone else down to *crazed teenyboppers. This topic is pretty much about what fans we are of these 2 characters. Just a little thread for people with something in commen. My point was, this is an action movie, guys for the most part go see these. This movie however, seems to be much more popular with women than with men. (speaking from my own exp.) When brought, 99% of women say the same thing, they watch the movies for the leading men. I'm not reducing anyone in any way nor will I disrespect or degrade ANY person on this site. Just having a little fun with the rest of the girls who share my opinion on this subject, that's all.

We both thoroughly enjoyed it. 
Didn't stay for the credits as we usually do, so we missed the extra scene....
Great cast, ambitious plot, incredible special effects. 
Another installment would fine. Want to see the lovers united and Jack back as Captain of the Black Pearl.
