I have an order for half key lime and strawberry cake to feed 30-40. They requeted a 11x15 and I am trying to figure out how to do this. I have seen post on here suggesting to put a cake board in the center and pour. When this is done does it tend to marble in the center area only? I there any other way to do half and half. My next issue is that she is requesting cream cheese icing...which of course goes w/ key lime. Since I am basically making 2 cakes I am charging for 2 cakes w/ ream cheese icing. Do you think that is fair? What would you charge?

11x15 half keylime/strawberry w/ cream cheesing icing w/ basketball theme?

Thank you guys so much!!!!!

A 11 x 15 should serve 30 people according to my chart that I use. I personally do not like to do the 1/2 and 1/2 thing so I make 2 cakes and cut them in half and join them, so there is not bleeding. But that is just me. If I were to have to do more, I would invest in one of the seperators you can buy.

I charge 27 as a base price for a 11 x 15. Then I add .20 a serving for cream cheese frosting and .20 for flavored cake. So I would charge a total of 40 for the cake. Then if there are any special decorations-mmf, flowers ect. I would charge an additional 5-10 depending on the complexity of the decorations.
