Hi, I'm new here- nice to "meet" all of you!

I have my final Wilton 4 class Wednesday night. My sisters' birthday is Thursday. So, I want to "kill two birds" and use my final cake as her bday cake.

Here's the question: I want to fill the cake with cookies and cream filling (whipped cream and pudding recipe). Will that filling survive the 3 hours total that it would have to be out of the fridge for my class (including travel time in the car)?

I'm not sure... but to be safe you could add cookies to your buttercream and use that for a filling.

I'd add it to the buttercream also. I try to avoid any fillings that need refrigeration, just in case.

Welcome, BTW!!!
