OK...I think I am going to finally take a stab at this. What I need to know is how long can it stay in the freezer? I'd like to make it ahead of time so I can come up with a back up plan if it's a disaster. I've heard anywhere from 3 to 24 hours is acceptable. How about any longer than 24 hours???

Thanks!

I'm not sure as I've never done one before, but here's a bump!

I usually leave mine about an hour or so... but I have read here where people make them days in advance so.. you should be fine for up to a week. hth

if you cover both sides with wax paper after it is frozen you will be fine for a very long time.....if you are putting it in a deep freezer....in a regular freezer I would say at least a week...depending on what other foods you have in there.

The one and only FBCT I did, I made on a Tuesday for putting on a cake on Friday. It was fine. I actually found the spare I made for that cake (in November) still in my deep-freeze last month, and it still looked fine. I threw it away, though.
