Rarely does a cookie turn out just the way you want it to.....so when this one did I was so happy! When I first found this picture online I knew I wanted to make it into a cookie. I only made one as it was just for me to see how well I would do at it. *patting my own back* I think I done did pretty good! ![]()
This is so cute! These would make a great baby shower cookie! What type of icing did you use? The colors are so crisp! Awesome job!
Thank you everyone!!!!!
It is royal icing. I took the pic right before I bagged it so it was actually dry already ( I usually snap a pic while they are wet in case my kids get too curious). I just made a template for it. I rarely use cookie cutters anymore.
You deserve a pat on the back!!!! It's an ADORABLE cookie with AMAZING detail work! Great Job!
It's fabulous - very cute!!!
P.S. I have K names too - Kyran 99, Kalan 01, Koby 02!!!
very cute the detail came out very well.
What amazingly detailed work! I am very impressed and you should be proud of yourself ![]()
How adorable!!!!! excellent job ![]()
I wanna do that! ![]()
You can totally do it. Seriously it really isn't tricky. Just look at the picture you want to put onto a cookie part by part. I usually start by doing the outide edges first, and then I will do the next biggest part of the design, etc. It makes it a lot easier when you do it that way...at least for me it does. If you want the picture I used for this cookie I can find the link for you.
*edited to add* Okay Ms. ShyannAutumn....I just looked at your photos...you SO could do this.....What are you crying about? Your cookies totally put mine to shame!
LOL, ummm.... I paint with small details of RI. You paint with RI completely. As I said in another thread. When I use RI I stamp/draw then trace. The flooding is what #$&@*$)@ me off. Your things are awesome.
