Lemon Cake Or White Cake

Which would be better with a lemon cream cheese frosting? Would it be too lemony with a lemon cake.

I would do white cake with lemon cream cheese frosting. icon_smile.gif

I agree, the white cake would compliment and not over do.

I vote for lemon cake, it sounds good with lemon cream cheese frosting!

Another vote for lemon ... but I *really* love lemon. In fact, I recently made a lemon cake with lemon curd, iced with (very light) lemon buttercream! Yum.
