Could someone recommend a really good beginner's book? There are so many books out there...wow!!!! Want to make a good decision on a book i can actually make good use of...

are you looking for technique or ideas? I would recommend getting the wilton yearbook that just cake out. It has a lot of great ideas as well as some instruction. Let us know which one you're trying to focus on, and maybe someone will be able to give you a better idea.

Maemae, doesn't your screenname mean little sister? Anyway, I think the 3 course books from Wilton are the best place to start. All the basic techniques simply stated and with pictures. A great place to start. Have fun!

sorry...long day...true...I find the word cake interchangable with a lot...it keeps things interesting!
