I have Kathy's molds, which I absolutely love, and I am wondering if anyone has ever frozen completely decorated petit fours? These are the ones that have the cake with a little buttercream and then they are coated in Chocolate and have a decoration on top. thanks

Hey, sorry I don't have any answers for you - I am trying to perfect the art of petit fours myself. Where can I find the molds you mentioned?

I wouldn't recommend it. The cake inside will expand and contract, causing the chocolate coating to crack.

I was interested in her method also. Check out Kathy's site for her molds: http://www.sweetexpress.net
