I am making a baby shower cake for the 5th of June. I have quite a bit of time, but I was wondering if I start playing around with making the bows and little babies, should I refridgerate them, and how long will they last?

I've made fondant decorations about a week in advance...I don't store them in the fridge though, I store them in a large tin. No one ends up eating the decorations so it didn't matter that they were very hard. Hope this helps.
