I think it looks better now. It looks finished. I'm still not all that happy with it, but I'm sure my 15 yo cousin will be thrilled. Wish me luck in transporting the cake to my mom's house for the party!

I think that is exactly what your cake needed. The dots really tie the two colors together. You did a wonderful job. Don't be so hard on yourself, we are always out own worst critic!! How long have you been decorating??

This is the 8th cake I've made and decorated. This is the first stacked cake I've ever done. I can definitely say I think I've learned from it. And I'm sure it will be better next time!

I had made many more than 8 cakes before I attempted a stacked cake. You are doing great!!!

Great job! I didn't see it before the dots, but I like the dots!

What I would do is park this in the fridge until it's time to go. That will firm it up a bit and you shouldn't worry about transporting it (just drive carefully!)
