with the cake work that you do?
Run out of ideas; end up doing another 1-layered cake. See several projects that you would like to start but back out for what ever reason(s). Want to try new ideas but don't.
Have stepped away for 2 weeks and look at photos every night here and feel that I've missed the boat when it comes to decorating.
Just a bit bummed out.....
OH! I so know how you feel. I always end up doing charachter pans or one & two layer cakes. The only cool cakes I ever made was my brothers wedding cake which I had no clue what I was doing(didnt know about cc then) and my neices barbie cake which I had horrible trouble with. I am now in the process of doing the most complicated cake I have ever done and I am having a lot of fun with it. everyone at cc has inspired me and gave me a ton of helpful advice. I just looked at your photos and they are wonderful, I only wish I could make cakes like that. Cheer up you have alot to be proud of!!

Since last Sunday the 27th when I posted the initial post, I made 2 mini cakes (in photos) and am working on what they call a "naughty" cake now. This one's killin' me! But in a fun way. It's due this Saturday and I'm just doing the "busy" work right now.
I read last week here on CC where there was a lot of the "blues" going around and it made me feel a bit better - not that others were bummed out also - but that I wasn't alone.
