Freezing A Jam Filled Tier

Thanks for all the great advice I've received on this forum. I have another question:

If I freeze an entire tier, which has been crumb coated and filled with jam, will the jam filled defrost ok?

can't see why it wouldn't.

sometime it might be a good idea to do a test cake on one you don't need for anything special. I have done this with a lot of cakes (ones I make for practice, i also test by mixing fillings, freezing or baking differently, etc.)
