Is There Such A Thing As A Straight Sided Cupcake Pan?

I want to make cupcakes for a 50th anniv -- need to be elegant. When the queen came to US, they showed her desert. It was an individual round cylinder (approx 3" hi) looking cake with a single white icing rose on top. I want to reproduce it, but can't find a straight sided pan, all are flared -- even the deep ones (Wilton). I think it would be too intensive to cut them from a sheet cake - plus, I don't think they would frost very smoothly. We want to use a ganache for frosting. Worst case I will use the Wilton deep and turn upside down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, but I was looking for something taller - but I love that site . Really didn't want to stack -- again, too time intensive. I might have to alter plans.

Can you find a picture of the cake you are describing? The one made for the Queen? It would be great to post here.

I have used these pans with great success:

I don't know if they are available in the USA, but perhaps a search under "alan silverwood" or "multi mini cake pans" might show some up in your area.

That was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the event is over, but I have them in mind for next time.

Thanks
