Oh no! I just went to the grocery store to get everything i needed for the cakes and i forgot the powdered sugar! I was in the isle for it to! Grr! 
Now what do i do? Is there an alternative to powdered sugar or anything else i can use? 
I don't think it's possible for me to go back to the store until tomorow and that's when they cake are going to be eaten(4th of july).

Wow, i did what you suggested and put some sugar in the blender with some cornstartch, and the sugar got hot! Who knew so many sugar crystals rubbing agaisnt each other could create heat enough for the sugar to steam. It did work though!! Thank you!!
