For those of you who use Ms. Penny's Butter Cookie Dough recipe, do you HAVE to use unbleached flour? I know it sounds dumb but is that a special one or something? Any advice would be great! TIA

I use regular Robin Hood flour. Worked great!!

I've never tried it without the unbleached flour, but I really can't see a huge problem!

Most sources indicate the nutritive value is the same; only the color is different - so they can be used interchangeably.

However, found one site that said cookies made with unbleached flour would be more crisp than cookies made with bleached flour:
