I'm at that age where all of my friends are starting to get married. It's great because they've all said they're going to call me for their cakes. I got one of these calls the other day but we haven't met to discuss the details yet.
She's not one of my very close friends but I played soccer with her for 4 years and I've known her for a total of six.
I'm just wondering, what kind of "discount" do you give your friends, if any? I'd love to have some advice!
Thanks,
Rachael
I've wondered about this too. I think though that unless you just want to be really nice, a discount isn't necessary. I'm sure she's not expecting one-- and think of how many aquainences (sp?) will be ordering from you in the future! Maybe I'm a cheap-o but I give $5 off only to my closest friends.(And most of them insist on paying full price)
I've lived in the same town for my whole life and so I know way too many people to give discounts to everyone!! :O) -- I would start getting bitter after a while!! ![]()
Tell her you will do the top tier or delivery for free?
That's a great idea! Thanks, Jenn!
I do a 10% off for family and close friends -except immediate family they are at cost.
