I tried FBCT today for my son's birthday, a fairly detailed picture from his favorite show, Yu-Go-Oh DX, and man! I am so impressed. It was so easy, and came out so nice. The only problem I had was that I kind of missed flipping the transfer over, and the edge was off the cake, but I just cut that off, and it actually worked out well, because I had not planned for 14 candles when I made the pattern. My son loved it!

My son has challenged me every year, since he always wants some monster or other from Yu-Gi-Oh on his cake, and doing it with stars is so hard because of all the detail. This is something I will do again, and, I think, often.

And, I think, it will look better on other cakes. My son insisted on chocolate icing out of a can, so I iced the cake with the chocolate icing and put the transfer on top of that. It looked okay, but he got what he wanted. I will do it again with a cake iced in buttercream with borders..... icon_biggrin.gif

Now if I can figure out how to upload a picture...........
