Has anyone every heard of cake jacks? Used them? Sugarcraft has them on their web site and I've heard one lady tell me she loves them but just wanted to ask here.

Thanks!

I've never used them, but as I understand them, they're like the legs on the Stress Free Support system without metal components. On the countrykitchensa.com site, the description is as follows:

Cake Jacks-3"
For additional support use these adjustable dowels along with wooden dowels or plastic dowels. They may be unscrewed until desired length is obtained. 3" extends to 4 1/4"
Units:6/pkg
27-123
$4.15

The only complaint I saw while searching for info on these was that they are a bit pricey and that people think they're throw-aways.

If you use them, let us know what you think!

I hate them! I would rather use wooden dowels. Also Cleaning them and getting them back is a pain.
I bought them hoping they would save time but they get lost at the venue and yada yada yada.
