I have a customer that called and said she will be 3 hours late picking up her cake. icon_surprised.gif I just got done buttercreaming it a half hour before the time she was to arrive so it would be fresh. I have dried fondant decorations on it as well. Can I put it in the fridge until she gets here with the dried fondant decos or will they start to droop or crack?!

Does it have a perishable filling? If not, I would just leave it out at room temp.

I refrigerate all my fondant cakes and have never had a problem. I only use IMBC so it needs to remain in the fridge.
