Is it possible to make a gumpaste shoe (instructions here on CC) out of fondant? Has anyone tried? Was hoping to try one today but need to know if it's a waste of time. Thanks!

Yes, but it takes longer to dry. I made mine with 1/2 gumpaste and 1/2 fondant.
