I spent hours making the stand up house with curtains on windows, etc. As soon as I tried to transport it - it fell over and the whole front of the house was RUINED!!!!
HOW on earth do you transport this cake without it falling over????
What a mess!

sorry can't help either. but i'm sorry this happened to you!
done it and survived...too long in fact...recipient didn't want to cut it...tooo cute! so she kept it until it, well, turned fuzzy.
secret...triple stack of cake boards glued together (and rotate so that ribbing is perpendicular to layer underneath (this is a home-made cake drum) and then dowels down through cake and into the stacked boards.
