I need ideas for an Engagement Party. I have this much information... Customer wants: two tiers, white crisp icing (no borders), black ribbon around bottom of each tier, asian cake topper, and fondue style. What is fondue style??? I thought fondue was a heated pot with skewers for dipping. I'm not understanding. Can anyone help me? Here is a pic of the cake topper:

Think they meant fondant? I'd say that that is more a royal icing type of thing.

Enlist a friend or family to go with you and hold it. I take my mother with me when I have to delivery a cake that might crumble under the pressure of the drive. icon_wink.gif

I would ask if they want something similar to that picture except using the black ribbon.

they MUST mean fondant.
