Before you read this I just want to say.....I love my husband he is a really awesome guy but when he gets into a funk about something he becomes totally impossible. Anyway, DH and I have been having one of those days....if ya know what I mean. So I decided to go hide in my kitchen and make a cake just for fun. I made the cake iced it and I was in the middle of making some mmf accents to put on the cake when DH rolls in. He pulls out a fork walks over to my cake, thinking he is actually going to dig right in (BTW this is something that he ALWAYS does that really annoys me. I don't think I have ever seen this man with a slice of anything! He always just grabs a fork and starts eating from the cake/pie/whatever icon_confused.gif ) and of course this turns into a huge argument...over a cake! He starts complaing that he "hates that fondant (insert bad word here)!" "I don't understand why you are bothering to decorate the cake" "just let me have a little and then you can finish decorating it!" Blah blah blah! He finally leaves the kitchen after spoiling the whole thing for me, and then after dinner he goes to eat some cake and says "This better be good!" WHAT?!?! icon_mad.gif Who says things like that???? After he had some cake he started acting like a human agian and told me how yummy it was and thanked me for making it, so that was nice, but jeez!!! I guess I need to start making more cake if all he needs is some carbs to perk him up!!! Just needed to vent a little! Thanks!!

Next time he comes at a cake with a fork before it's done, poke his hand with a flower nail.

LOL (loud maniacal laughter)

Seriously, I feel your pain...but I thought a laugh might help. icon_smile.gif

My dh would have gotten hit in the face with the cake if he pulled that "This had better be good" line! Then I would have gotten a good laugh!

eating eat WHILE you are working on it?

he's completely out of line.

Wonderful or not, no one should tolerate childish behaviour like that
