My daughter asked for a cake with lollipops in her cake, so I have about 5 of those swirly lollipops made out of fondant. The problem is I stuck them in the cake with lollipop sticks and now they are falling and making holes in my cake. Can anyone please tell me what I have to do to make them stable. I'm in a time crunch and I dnt wnt to ruin the cake. Thanks for any help. Jasmine

Can you put it on a longer stick? It must be too heavy for the cake. If you could put them on long dowels and try to insert them down to the cake board, maybe that would help.

I can't get a visual exactly but I have heard people say they wrap the bottom of the sticks first then put them in the cake to be more stable. Not sure if that helps you sorry! Good luck to you icon_smile.gif

Try putting straws in the cake and then inserting the lollypops...

The straws are your best bet. That should make a difference but if you have to transport the cake take the lollipops out until you set it up.
