With inspiration and help from GIAcakes, I made my first paid cake and delivered it tonight. It's not perfect and it differs somewhat from GIAcakes' photos, but I ran into a snag and had to modify. That's okay... it still looks good and my friend really loved it. 
My friend had the toy train at her house to put on the top... that's why it looks a bit unfinished. Note that I did not spell "Happy Birthday" wrong... her son calls it "Happy Day" instead and so that's what I wrote.

I recently asked my son what kinda of Bday cake he would like for his bday and he said one,two,three. He thought I asked him how old he was going to be, silly boys! Great cake!!!
What a cool cake!! I really like it!
By the way, my son, whose name happens to be Connor and is turning 3 in a few weeks REALLY liked it!! Now I'll just have to explain that it is not for him!
