We have one that is 7 months old. Let me tell you the good and not so good IMO. They are full of personality, funny as he//, cute as ever, boy do they draw attention! I absolutely did NOT want one before we got him. My DH did anyway. I tried not to like him but I couldn't help it. They do require extra care, like the wrinkles on their faces, and skin. They are noisy and sloppy. Grunty, burp, fart, drip water everywhere when they drink, just like any man! icon_razz.gif Everyone who meets him loves him to death! Our pug gets ignored now. icon_cry.gif If your an animal lover, I say go for it!
I have tons of pics of ours in my Photobucket album. icon_rolleyes.gif

ive been reading about having to clean their wrinkles, and eyeballs, and sometimes tails so they dont get infections. and that they are a little more work to take care of than other dogs.. so i was just wondering how much more!

i am definatly an animal lover, but they are expensive, so i was just making sure i know what im getting into i guess! we have a lab mix now and she farts and snores so im sore of used to all that.. icon_eek.gificon_lol.gif

Well, it's not really alot more than any other dog, just a few minutes a day. the thing is, you really need to be on top of it. We have had pugs who also have wrinkled faces, and hardly ever had to clean them regularly, but the bulldog got irritated really quickly. If you like them to begin with, I think you'll love one right away. My husband loves ours SSOOOO much!! I do too honestly, and I did NOT want one. icon_rolleyes.gif So yes, it's more than normal, but in actuality its not all that much more work.
