Butter Pecan Cake???

Does anyone have any good ideas as to what kind of icing to put on a butter pecan cake? Should I use buttercream or is there something better. I've never had that kind of cake before so I don't even know what it tastes like and I have to make 2 for this Saturday. Thanks!

I think a caramel flavored frosting would be totally good with butter pecan cake.

I agree with crystalina1977. Caramel sounds really, really good. In fact, i think I may have to go try this out right now!

My very favorite cake of all time is now Butter Pecan Iced and Filled with White Chocolate Buttercream...YUM!
