I need a maroon or burgundy color for a cake. I dont know what colors to mix to get it. Does anyone know how to get it? I did not want to go and buy it if I could help it.

Try red with just a touch of black, one drop at a time.

Sorry, but the only way to get a good burgundy is with the Americolor burgundy.

...the burgundy is not really burgundy....I bought it and tried it...it comes out to a dark mauve....I had to experiment and add other colors....I think I added a regular red and a little brown to it....whatta pain that was!!!
