Because the subject of Faux Fondant Icing technique has come up recently I thought you might like to look at this link to Jeff Arnetts instructions for making the smoothing tool and how to use it. He tells me he has upgraded one area of making this tool, today he uses a plastic scraper rather than metal, it is easier to drill holes in to hold the curved section of the tool.

Thanks Shirley
Another thing to add to my list of things to try! I can't wait till I have time to go to Home Depot.

I printed out the picture and am taking it to my local ACE hardware store to see if they can do ths for me. I have a drill and could probably figure it out on my own, but I trust them to know how it's done. Now to find a plastic scraper with a handle.
