1/4, 1/2, Full Sheet Cakes, What Are The Sizes Of The Pans?

someone post this and I copied it so I'd have it for reference :
9x13 - 1/4 sheet
11x15 - 1/2 sheet
12x15 - 3/4 sheet
(2) 11x15 - full sheet
1 cake mix - 1/4, 2 cake mixes - 1/2, 3 cake mixes - 3/4 and 4 mixes a full sheet.
The truth is everyone says something different. Here's what I use.
1/4 sheet - 9x13
1/2 sheet - 11x15
1 sheet - (2)11x15
A full sheet may not fit well in your oven as is the problem with mine. I have also found that this makes things a whole lot easier for making different flavors for one cake.
Hope this helps,
Teisha
this is how mine are:
9x13=1/4 sheet
11x15=1/3 sheet
12x18=1/2 sheet
15x22 = 2/3
18x24=full
That's the same thing I use cakeconfections!
You know it is like comparing apples with oranges 1/4, 1/2 and full are all bakery terms as they actually cut the pan into these sizes so our home pans are not the same
a 1/4 sheet cake in the store is smaller than a 9x13 same with a 1/2 so I do not even refer to them with those terms. I say to the customer I make a 9X13 and a 12X18 which are larger than the store 1/4 and 1/2 sheet cake this is how many they will serve cut in pieces _x_
The local stores here have a 7x11, 9x13, 12x18, and then the full sheet.
