I have never done cupcakes for a customer before and I am unsure on how to transport them. I was planning on putting them on a cake board and then a box, is that what all of u would suggest? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I went over to Meijer's (a department store similar to Walmart) bakery and bought plastic cupcake holders for 25 cents each (each holds a dozen). They had a real high dome top to them so they were perfect when I twirled my frosting on them and then put a candy mint on top of that. I would check to see if Walmart sells them if you don't have a Meijer's near you.

I use dept. store sweater boxes. They are taller than shirt boxes, but fit 18 cupcakes really well. I line them with parchment paper, and fill with cupcakes. They transport really well in these boxes.

I am not sure where you live and how many cupcakes you have but Wilton jhas a cup cake holder that has a tray with ridges so that the cupcakes do not slide, it also has a cover on it. One side of the tray has 12 spots for big cupcakes and the other has 24 for mini cupcakes. I live in Canada and bnought mine at linens and things. Jen

Thanks for your ideas, I have the cupcake case but I was unsure if they would stay without moving and without the 12 slot part. Thanks again. icon_smile.gif
