Dry Cake

I just took a cake from the oven and it is really cracked. Am I looking at a dry cake or is it possible that it will be ok?

cracking doesn't usually mean a dry cake. I've had some very moist cakes crack on me.

I've had cakes crack when I didn't let them sit/cool long enough before "popping" them out of the pan.
