I new to making cakes, just finished my course III. My problem is I get so nervous when doing a cake for someone. I am so worried they won't like it and be disappointed. Does experience lessen the nerves? I have yet to charge for a cake so it's not like I'm taking money for people (not even for ingredients) but I still worry. By the time I deliver a cake I'm just a bundle of nerves. Any other nervous nellies out there?

Hi Jasra! Welcome to Cake Central. I looked at your gallery, your cakes are very nice!

As for nerves, I can relate. I want everything to be perfect. But just try to have fun and take pride in the complements you get when you present your masterpiece !! icon_smile.gif

I have a wedding cake due in August and I am so nervous about it that I've been losing sleep. Doesn't help that I haven't gotten a deposit so I haven't begun making the flowers for it yet. ARGH! I'm right there with you girl.
