I am getting ready to tackle my first gumpaste bow. I have had my gumpaste mixed and sitting for about 24 hours. What I need to know is about how many loops should I make for a full-looking bow? I looked at some photos of bows and some look like they have 40-50 loops for a nice full bow - does this sound about right?

The ones I've seen and the ones that they feature on the wilton fondant box only show 15-20 loops. But I've only tried this once and it wasn't successful so hopefully someone can give you better instructions.

I do 20 to 25 bows for a fluffy 6 inch bow. Any leftover loops can be used elsewhere, but its a pain in the butt if you have to make loops at the last minute.
