find an old 50's car, trace it, trace that in piping gel onto parchment and do a transfer. then outline. also think 45 records? here's a pic of a cake i did for fathers day with a '62 cutlass using that method (my hubby's car)

How about a 50s Jukebox, like this one?

Good Luck! thumbs_up.gif

LOVE the juke box! you can print that, trace it in dark pen (so you can see it thru parchment) and then trace it onto the parchment with clear piping gel... transfer it to the cake and then outline with black piping gel... fill in with color????

alaskanmom, that was exactly what I had in mind, but was not awake enough to say so (3AM here) Thanks!

Is it too late ...or too early... for coffee? icon_razz.gif

I just added the jukebox cake I did to my photos . I used an 11 x 15 and cut the edges and built up the sides. But you could also do a FBCT.

I did this cake for twin girls last year... it's cut out of a 1/2 shee cake and decorated with crusting buttercream
