Hi all

I am making a graduation cake for my niece. Nothing to big. She doesn't want anything to do with Graduation like diploma or the cap. She wants something pretty. I was going to make a two tier cake with lots of roses on top in shades of blue because that is her school color. I just made one with gum past and cutting it out with exact-o knife. I took a while and just thinking about make about 15 of them is making me nervous about how long it will take. I have seem on line that people use pedal cutters. Do you know where I could get them to save me time? I have two boys, one that is 3 and the other will be 2 at the end of June and I can never get anything done during the day because they wild and very mischievous. So if anyone can help please let me know where I could get those pedal cutter.

You can probably find it at Michaels, ACmoore, Ragshop (now has tons of wilton stuff), Joanns Fabrics, Hobby Lobby.

There are so many places where you can get beautiful flower petal cutters, but if you want something simple and easy Wilton also makes another flower petal cutter that looks great on a cake. It can be found anywhere Wilton is carried usually. There are several flowers that are offered and they all look great on a cake. Mixing the sizes is also fun. And placing a smaller in front of a larger size gives a nice effect as well.

If you go to the Wilton website, click on the online store, the click on Cake Decorating Shop, then choose Fondant and Gum Paste Accessories, you will then see all the cutters they offer. They are located about halfway down the page.

If you can't find them you can always look where cookie cutters are sold as well.
