Will cookie icing melt in the sun/heat? What kind is best?

Royal icing or Toba's glace shouldn't melt. The rolled buttercream is a different story. I wouldn't think fondant would melt(?).

So, Antonia74's would be OK?

I would think so, though I've never used it myself. Can you do a test? I always try to do that if I'm not sure.

Royal icing won't melt in the heat, however, the colors will fade if put in direct sunlight. Royal icing holds up very well in just about any temp but it doesn't like humidity, could cause some colors to bleed.

Yikes. Humidity is a real problem here in Houston. Hmmm...
