Do you have to decorate them with Fondant, or can you use buttercream?

The two I have done I used buttercream with fondant accents. I don't think you need to use fondant at all though if you don't want too.

I don't think there is a rule that says it has to be done in fondant. icon_smile.gif

I used to do my only in fondant, but buttercream with fondant accents is SO much easier and lighter tasting! I have 4 ordered for this summer, so I'll keep posting them!

I love topsy turvy cakes - I've only done 2 so far (in my pics), but can't wait to do more. I used mmf for both - for me it is easier to work with, but you can do anything.
