ok let's try this one more time.

My daughter just registar with Red Cross, they are having a pot luck on saturday. I was thinking cupcakes or a 1/2 sheet cake. cupcake because that is easy. and a 1/2 shhet cake because I get to pratice on smoothing my icing for design white icing or cream cheese (crusting) red border, maybe do the Red Cross symbol and writing American Red Cross, something short and sweet, so what are your thoughts

I think cupcakes with the logo would be cute and a sheet cake to match (and to help you practice!)

Cupcakes are great alone - perfect serving size! But I would rather do the sheet cake than cupcakes....but thats me..... I need to learn patience....

That's hilarious. I think if you want more practice smoothing - go for the sheet cake - this is one where they will just love it. I really like your idea of the logo & "American Red Cross". Maybe if you want more servings & want to also do cupcakes, just use the red color, so you don't have to take as much time with them? (or just the white color!) Okay, it's about midnight in California, so I hope you get more responses from someone else! =) Good luck!

that's exactly what i said. i only mention cupcakes, because they were quick and easy and dealing with kids, that's exactly what u want. but i prefer the 1/2sheet beacuse i can pratice

"When in doubt - do what you want!" =) That's what I usually do, and it turns-out better than expected, people are usually happy. It is now about 1:20am, and I just finished my last cake order until next weekend... these Monday cake orders through me off sometimes! So, I hope your red cross turns out great! I'd love to see a picture too!

Oh I can't wait to see! I would probably have ended up doing the cupcakes if it was me, but I am soo excited to see what you come up with!
