Well, here's the graduation cake I've finally finished. This was my first bct, and I'm thrilled with the way it came out (is quick melting a characteristic of bct, or was it something I didn't do?). The graduation caps are made from color flow and I'm also thrilled about those as well. What do you guys think? This is the first cake this size I've done in a long time although I do do the smaller and character cakes. I'm looking to branch out after reading about all the creative options out there, and I'm really excited about it. icon_smile.gif

Well it appears that the pic is too large to attach...I tried changing the pixels, but it cut off a majority of the cake and got most of my table icon_cry.gif someone help please icon_redface.gif

Normally, the size of a pic wouldn't matter and would automatically be resized after it was uploaded. Maybe that isn't working properly right now. How about adding it to the gallery? That may work. I'd love to see it!

Yay! You're welcome! I saw your grad cake too...you did a great job and should be really proud of it! Your BCT is perfect and yes, they do melt quickly.

Good job. I also love your witzy the duck cake, very cute. I have made that cake too, but with my own variation on it.
In fact wilton just came out with a new alternative thing to do with that pan, I think they stole their idea from me icon_wink.gif J/K

Why thank you Lisa, everyone thought it was pretty neat how I kinda made it to match the blanket that I made for my co-worker.
